Any member of the UNL community can request a presentation (faculty, staff, or students). We will offer a recorded version of the presentation, when available. If an in-person presentation is necessary, please let us know in the form, and we will try to fill your request. See below for a list of our offered presentations. We require at least two weeks notice for all presentation requests.

LGBTQA+ 101

32 minute recording. A great introduction for anyone wanting to learn more about the LGBTQA+ community and how to be an ally. Explores gender- and sexuality-related terminology, pronouns, issues of marginalization and discrimination faced by the LGBTQA+ community, and ways to be an active ally to the community.

Pronouns 101

31 minute recording. Increase your knowledge of gender-related terminology, strengthen your understanding of diverse pronouns and how to use them, and learn about various ways to be an inclusive ally to transgender and gender diverse folks.

Sexual Health

27 minute recording. This presentation breaks down various aspects of sexual health, including sexuality-related terminology and anatomy, what consent really means, the prevention and treatment of various sexually transmitted infections, and various forms of contraception.

Men and Masculinity

35 minute recording. This presentation breaks down various social constructs and stereotypes that negatively affect men and masculine people while discussing how these constructs reinforce ideas of toxic masculinity. We also explore ways to reject this toxicity and promote healthy masculinity through focusing on emotional intelligence and well-being.
